Student answer (Band 5.0)

Many people don't like to do household activities. So individuals will pay to others for these activities .While, Others thinks that we have to do by ourselves. In this essay, I will discuss the both viewpoints with my opinion.

One of the main reason is that busy schedule. To explain this, many individuals working more hours to earn more money because inflation is increasing day by day.So , every individual do long shifts to complete thier basic needs. Another advantage of paying others do household activities is increase employment rate. Most of people are not able to take good education due to financial problems. Therefore, they will able to find job in this way as well as it will helps reduce the poverty in the country. Its also helps to decrease burden of government.

However, individuals have to do their household activities because it will make better relationships with their family. They will know better about thier kids hobbies because most of the parents are busy in their work and they don't know about kids interests and hobbies. It is good idea to improve relationships between them.

They able to reduce stress and pressure of their work by doing other activities. People will feel happy and relax. It will helps to improve their mental health. They will able to more concentrate on their work.

In conclusion, i discuss the both viewpoints but in my opinion, people have to pay others because its helps to generate more money and increase employment rate in the notion

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing whether paying others for chores is a good way to provide work and whether people should do these tasks themselves. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times repetitive. For instance, the discussion on employment mentions increasing the employment rate and reducing poverty, but these points are underdeveloped and lack specific examples. Furthermore, the position taken in the conclusion contradicts parts of the body paragraphs regarding whether people should do things themselves. These limitations place the response comfortably within the Band 5 to 6 range.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, though the logical progression is sometimes hindered by abrupt transitions and repetitive sentence structures. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often mechanical or misused, such as 'While, Others thinks' and 'To explain this'. Paragraphing is attempted, but some paragraphs mix disparate ideas, such as combining work stress relief with family relationships. Referencing is occasionally unclear, which disrupts the flow of reading and places the response at Band 5.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, but it shows limited range and frequent repetition of basic words like 'activities', 'people', and 'work'. There are noticeable lexical errors and awkward collocations, such as 'pay to others', 'take good education', and 'in the notion' (presumably meaning 'nation'). These errors do not completely impede communication, but they restrict the score to Band 5, as the repertoire of less common vocabulary is very narrow.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The text contains a mix of simple and attempted complex sentences, but grammatical accuracy is quite low. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every individual do', 'It also helps', 'individuals have to do'), missing articles, and incorrect prepositions. Punctuation errors are also present, such as incorrect comma placement before conjunctions. Although the meaning is usually retrievable, the high frequency of basic grammatical errors prevents the essay from reaching Band 6.
