Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays individuals tend to pass their responsibilies to other people due to various reasons. Some of them do not like to do these things their own or they are busy with their schedules. So they hire paid workers for these jobs. This is good way of providing work to unemployed people and there no rules implement to see who should handles these tasks. Because most of them are personal chores.
Currently both women and men are working fulltime. Therefore, they do not have time to look after their children, preparing meals and cleaning. Thus, they recruit qualified people to handle these things on behalf of them. This action balance the economy by transfering high earners money to other people. For an instance, in Canada, majority of children are registered to a daycare. Parents are paying daycare fees while trained and registered child care workers look after them while parents are at work. I believe this is best way to provide work for others. Hence, unemployed rates drops down. Because these opportunities creates jobs for others.
There is no protocol to follow for the household tasks. Family can share their responsibilies, but if they do not have spare time to complete these, they can outsource them. Some cultures believe that kids should raised by their mothers'. However, with the current inflation and financial stress women also started working fulltime. As a result of this people do not have option. So in my opinion it is not essential for people to do these things by themselves.
In conclusion, many households hire cooks, servants to do their house chores and pay them while they are busy with their jobs, or they do not like to follow these daily routines. This will create opportunities for other who seek jobs and if people are not interested in doing these tasks, they can hire people to do.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The student addresses all parts of the task by discussing both whether outsourcing household chores and childcare is a good way to provide work and whether people should perform these tasks themselves. A clear personal position is presented throughout the essay, supporting the view that outsourcing is beneficial due to modern time constraints and financial realities. Ideas are extended with a relevant example regarding Canadian daycares and the economic impact of transferring funds. However, some arguments lack deeper elaboration, and there is a tendency to overgeneralize slightly regarding family structures and financial stress. Despite these minor limitations, the main prompt questions are adequately answered, aligning well with the Band 6.0 and 7.0 criteria.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph structure separating the introduction, body paragraphs addressing different prompt facets, and a conclusion. Logical progression is evident as the writer transitions from general definitions of outsourcing to specific examples like daycare facilities and cultural expectations. Cohesive devices such as 'Therefore', 'Thus', and 'However' are used, though referencing and linking can occasionally feel slightly mechanical or abrupt, as seen with sentences like 'This action balance the economy by transfering high earners money to other people.' Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct points, placing the response firmly at Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the student to communicate their ideas effectively. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary items and phrases, such as 'outsource them', 'financial stress', and 'unemployed rates'. However, there are noticeable word choice errors and typographical mistakes throughout the text, such as 'responsibilies' instead of responsibilities, 'their own' instead of themselves, 'transfering' instead of transferring, and 'unemployed rates' instead of unemployment rates. While these inaccuracies do not impede overall communication, they prevent the lexical score from reaching higher bands, making Band 6.0 an accurate reflection of the student's range and control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, including conditional and causal structures like 'if they do not have spare time... they can outsource them'. However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'there no rules implement to see who should handles these tasks', 'kids should raised by their mothers'', and 'opportunities for other who seek jobs'. Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also occasionally inconsistent ('balance the economy', 'best way'). These errors are frequent enough to cause some distraction for the reader, though they rarely impede overall comprehension, placing the performance securely in the Band 5.5 to 6.0 range.
