People provide this work earn stable amount to manage their busy schedule. For Insatnce, a working couples hire a cleaner to look for household chores twice a week, which allows a cleaner to earn a money and couples to spend quality of time for their work or family.
People should do some necessary tasks by themselves as well such as, take care of their children which is important to make relations stregnthen and it is also responsibilities towards their children. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing whether hiring people for unwanted tasks is a good way to provide employment and whether people should do these tasks themselves. The writer takes a clear, balanced position, arguing that while it creates jobs, important responsibilities like childcare should still be handled personally. Ideas are relevant and supported with a clear example of a working couple hiring a cleaner. However, some arguments remain slightly under-developed, and the explanation lacks the depth typically required for higher band levels. There are also a few sweeping generalizations. Overall, the response meets the criteria for Band 6.0 as it addresses all parts of the task with relevant, if somewhat basic, ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, following a logical structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Progression is generally clear, moving from the benefits of hiring help to the necessity of personal involvement. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty and mechanical. For instance, transitional phrases and conjunctions are used awkwardly, such as 'Although, people should take' and 'which is create employement opportunity'. Furthermore, referencing and paragraph links could be smoother. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to structure the essay, but the overall mechanical nature of the cohesive devices places this at Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary range for the task, successfully using terms like 'household chores', 'babysitting', 'stable amount', and 'practical solution'. However, there are notable word-choice and spelling errors that affect precision, such as 'employement' instead of employment, 'Insatnce' instead of instance, and 'exremely' instead of extremely. The writer attempts less common vocabulary, but inaccurate collocations and word forms—such as 'paying to someone' and 'relations stregnthen'—limit the score. Communication is not impeded, but the presence of these recurring lexical inaccuracies keeps the score at a solid Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, using relative clauses and subordinate clauses (e.g., 'which allows a cleaner to earn a money and couples to spend quality of time'). However, grammatical accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in verb forms, prepositions, and article usage, such as 'paying to someone for the unwanted tasks or do not have enough time', 'which is create', and 'rather than hire a paid worker'. Punctuation is also problematic in places, particularly with run-on sentences and incorrect comma splices. While these errors do not completely prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to prevent the response from achieving a Band 6.0.
