Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this modern world, people don't have enough time to lead their routine life where it is possible that they hire someone to do those kind of work for which they either don't have time to do or when they are not interested in doing those things such as basic household chores or taking care of the children. I believe people should do these type of things themselves which help them

Household work includes organizing your bed, cleaning your house, cooking your favourite food, cleaning dishes, doing laundry and many other tasks ore performed on regular basis in our day to day life. These tasks should be performed by people themselves rather than oursourcing it to someone elese by paying someone to do your daily household chores because these are the tasks that helps you develop orgaziational skills and keep you busy throughout the day rather than sitting idle and spending your time scrollign phones. It ven heklps you to dtay fit as you perform these takks physically bending uo and down, moving here and there whcih helps you stay active throught the day.

Alongside, children should be taken care of by their parents itself rather than hiriugn someone to look after them. It causes a huge impact throughout their childhood and they learn what they see during their childhood. If parents don;t look after them and dont; spend time with them then when they gorw up they don't have much affection with their parents. No on eknows how the other perosn is tarining the child and what sort of knowledge is shared with them and they get influenced to worng stuff.

In conclusion, people should start dounf the thing themselves rather hirign someone to do their regular stuff o fthier l

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response attempts to address all parts of the prompt, discussing both whether outsourcing chores is a good way to provide work and whether people should perform these tasks themselves. The writer takes a clear position that individuals should handle household chores and childcare personally. However, the development of ideas is limited and the response trails off abruptly at the end due to an incomplete final sentence ("o fthier l"). The economic part of the prompt regarding providing work for others is only very briefly touched upon, skewing the balance of the response. These issues align best with a Band 5.5 or Band 6.0 descriptor, where the task is addressed but some parts remain under-developed or unclear.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The text demonstrates a basic overall arrangement with paragraph breaks used to separate the introduction, household chores, childcare, and conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical, and referencing is sometimes unclear, such as "these type of things themselves which help them" ending mid-sentence. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly in places, and the abrupt ending shows a lack of control over structural progression. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final paragraph is incomplete. These features are characteristic of Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting words like "outsourcing," "organizational skills," and "affection." However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, such as "scrollign," "ven heklps," "dtay," "takks," "uo and down," "whcih," "hiriugn," "dont;," "gorw," "perosn," "tarining," "worng," and "dounf." While these errors do not completely impede overall communication because the context is usually clear, their high frequency prevents the score from reaching Band 6.0, placing it firmly at Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, awkward phrasing, and punctuation issues, such as missing apostrophes ("dont;",
