IELTS Writing Task 2 question

It is sometimes possible to pay somebody to do things you don't want to do, or don't have time to do, for example, household chores or looking after children.

Is this a good way of providing work for others?

Should people do these things themselves?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

Some people believe that sometimes it is good to pay to others for getting their household jobs done such as laundry , cleaning and kitchen work because of their busy schedule.From my perspective for some people this is good job which is giving the many unemployed workers like women.I will discuss the reasons behind this situation in the upcoming paragraphs.

There are many reasons why some people do not want to get their job by themselves. Firstly, some people have their busy schedule and they are busy in their office work and they do not get the time to do their household work.Hence after reaching home they already feel tired and not have enough energy to do work.So, they hire maids and servants to get their jobs done.Moreover, nowadays they are hiring caretakers for their children because they better look after their children and feed them time to time .Thirdly, some people hire people to get their jobs done because they have enough money and they can afford to hire people to get their jobs done like various actors and celebrities do this way.

However,I think yes this is a very good way to give work to many people specially women in India who want to be financially independent and they are not so educated but they have to run their family and earn bread and butter for their children and family. Furthermore, unemployment rate because of this is decreasing in India now.

In conclusion, i would like to reiterate that there are many reasons why i believe that its a very good way to give work to many people as unemployment rate is decreasing and many pressure of work is also reducing from many people.
