Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowadays, it is an ongoing trend in which people choose to pay money for their domestic works or child care just because they have lack of time or interest to do the tasks. I would like to explain this things in a positive manner in the insuing paragraphs.

To begin with, I think this is the best way to provide emplyoment to someone who is having a hobby of helping others. Moreover, people choose to do household chores and baby sitting as thier job because of their intrest and expertiesin that work. This kind of work involved skills, paticence and good source of income which helps individual to support their needs and expenses. The role demands skills like time management, clear commiunication and experience specially to look after child is not easy task for everyone. For example, in the United Kingdom the goverment supports people by providing carers which help elderly as well as child with their daily activites and tasks, which they can not be able to perform independently. This approach leads people to live stress free life and enjoy their quality time with family.

I totally agree with that everyone should do their own task by themselves, which keep them active, mobile and independent. It is a very good habit that should be deloveped at very young age and it should be followed by the rest of life. Every individual make a time table and try to follow that this will allow to keep aleart about the situation and sense of responsibilites during a day. For instance, parents should encourage their childrent to do their own task so they will learn to deal with things when they are not around them.

To conclude, person should spent limited amount of time doing househould and spend majority of time in work they like to do as house work want give any rewards so, use the time wisely.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing whether outsourcing chores provides good employment and whether people should do these tasks themselves. The position is somewhat contradictory at first, as the introduction states the writer will explain the trend in a positive manner, yet the third paragraph argues that everyone should do their own tasks to stay active. Ideas are presented and supported with examples, such as the reference to carers in the United Kingdom, but some arguments are underdeveloped or lack depth. For instance, the discussion on employment touches briefly on skills and patience, but does not fully explore the broader economic or social implications. Overall, all parts of the task are covered with relevant, albeit slightly disjointed, ideas, fitting the requirements for a Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is arranged into logical paragraphs with an introduction, body paragraphs addressing each part of the prompt, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'To conclude' are used to structure the text, though some transitions feel a bit mechanical or repetitive. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the pronoun use in 'this things' or 'which they can not be able to perform independently'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct points, moving from the benefits of employment to the importance of self-reliance, giving the overall arrangement a coherent structure that matches Band 6.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'insuing', 'expertiesin', and 'deloveped', though these contain spelling and word-formation errors. There are noticeable errors in word choice and spelling throughout the text, such as 'emplyoment', 'intrest', 'paticence', 'commiunication', 'goverment', and 'househould'. While these errors occasionally distract the reader, communication is not severely impeded, and the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the main arguments. This performance aligns closely with the Band 5.5 to 6.0 descriptors, leaning towards a solid 6.0 for attempting a varied range of topic-specific vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('this things', 'childrent', 'person should spent'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing ('which keep them active', 'house work want give any rewards'). Punctuation and phrasing errors sometimes cause the reader to pause, though they rarely obscure the overall meaning completely. Because the errors are frequent but do not impede communication, and there is a reasonable attempt at complex structures, the response fits the Band 5.5 to 6.0 criteria well.
