Student answer (Band 6.0)
Morden world brings new concepts of making work easier. It is argued that it is ok to pay for the work which people do not like or have no time for it. For example baby sitting and cleaning the house. I believe this is a best way to create job for others. However, humans also need to do some of their work by selves to stay active. This essay will discuss why it's best to offer work to people as well as doing things by selves also creates healthy lifestyle.
To commence with, people are always in search of jobs in this competitive market. Getting a work which do not need much education and skills would put cherry on the cake. A person who is struggling to get an employment for daily survival can work on some jobs that just need basic knowledge and communication skills. For instance, individual can work as a baby sitter and can take good care of child while parents are on their work. Moreover, its hard to maintain work life balance due to hectic schedule and close deadlines. In this if one can help to clean house and do other household stuff would be a great help for both employer and the worker. To illustrate, a person gets tired after the work and they hardly have enery to maintain cleanliness in their house. If they hire a weekly cleaner can provide great support and they can relax in their free time instead of working again in household things. Therefore paying for such jobs ia a good way to provide work for others.
On the flip side, paying for every house work makes people lazy and in active. The man who always pays for their work becomes dependent on others and encounters health issues due to in activity. For example, people who pays for all cleaning and keeping their child becomes lazy and un organised. Due to less activity they might get obesity or cardiac problems. Therefore doing some work for own makes a person responsible and fosters great sense of wellbeing.
To conclude, its better to pay for a work to others when someone is too busy to handle all their household stuff and taking care of their kids every single time. However, staying reliable on workers makes person lazy and might creates health problems due to less activity. So they need to do things themselves at some moment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: whether hiring help is a good way to create jobs, and whether people should do these things themselves. A clear position is maintained throughout the essay. The introduction outlines the two main perspectives, and body paragraphs explore the economic benefits of low-skilled employment opportunities alongside the potential health drawbacks of physical inactivity. However, some ideas are slightly repetitive or under-developed. For instance, the discussion on health issues focuses heavily on general concepts of laziness and inactivity without exploring more nuanced arguments. Nevertheless, all parts of the prompt are adequately covered, earning a solid Band 6.5.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall progression and is divided into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, two body paragraphs addressing each side of the prompt, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used adequately to connect ideas, such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'On the flip side'. However, referencing and cohesion are occasionally mechanical or faulty, as seen in phrases like 'In this if one can help to clean house...' where transition into the example is abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and the overall arrangement guides the reader through the argument successfully, aligning well with the descriptors for Band 6.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common lexical items such as 'competitive market', 'work-life balance', and 'wellbeing'. However, there are notable word choice and collocation errors, such as 'by selves' instead of 'by themselves', 'Getting a work' instead of 'Getting work' or 'Finding a job', and 'in active' instead of 'inactive'. Spelling errors like 'energys' or 'un organised' also appear. While communication is not impeded, these frequent lexical inaccuracies prevent the response from reaching Band 7. Overall, the lexical control reflects a stable Band 6 level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating conditional structures and relative clauses. However, grammatical accuracy is inconsistent throughout the essay. There are frequent errors in article usage ('a best way', 'the work'), prepositions ('on their work' instead of 'at work'), and subject-verb agreement ('paying for every house work makes'). Furthermore, awkward phrasing such as 'The man who always pays for their work becomes dependent' displays issues with pronoun agreement and number. Because these errors occur frequently alongside correct simple sentences, the grammar fits the Band 5.5 to 6 range, comfortably landing at a 6.0.
