Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, it is common for people to pay other to perform tasks that they do not enjoy or do not have enough time to complete, such as household chores and childcare. In my perspective it can be a positive way of creating employment, although people should still take responsibility for some tasks themselves, which will be elaborated in the essay, citing relevant examples.
Examining the factors for paying others to do the tasks, the most significant is that, it provides employment opportunities for people who specialise in domestic services. This means, it help to getting a job in local region. For example, in India "URBAN COMPNAY" provides different services such as babysitters, gardeners, cleaners and kitchen organizers, so that people can earn a regular income by providing services to busy families. Furthermore, hiring someone can save valuable time for people who have demanding jobs. This is to say, many people working in long hours in hospitals, multinational company and in a variety of jobs and they do not have time for cleaning, washing or any other task single handed so it is work for them to hire someone for this job.
On other hand, people should not completely depend on others for every household responsibility. In other words, people should do basic tasks such keeping one's room tidy, washing personal belongings and helping with household duties to family members. For instance, it is good to teach their children to participate in household chores and make them realize sense of responsibility. Moreover, people should take care of their newborn baby by own. This means, it is really important for their upbringing and family bond between their parents.
To conclude, paying others to carry out unwanted or time consuming tasks can be effective way of providing employment and saving people' time. However, individuals should still contribute to basic household responsibilities rather than relying entirely on paid works and taking care of children by own good for your children upbringing and family relationship. Both are important for themselves.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both whether outsourcing chores provides employment and whether people should do these things themselves. A clear position is maintained throughout the essay. The ideas presented are generally relevant, such as mentioning specific services like 'URBAN COMPANY' to support the employment argument, and discussing the value of teaching children responsibility. However, some ideas show a tendency to be slightly under-developed or repetitive in the body paragraphs, which prevents the response from reaching a higher level. The conclusion briefly restates the main points, but lacks full extension in places. The task is addressed adequately overall, fulfilling the criteria for a solid performance where all prompts are covered with relevant, albeit occasionally concise, supporting details.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The essay demonstrates a clear logical organisation and progression throughout. Information and ideas are coherently arranged into distinct paragraphs, starting with an introduction, moving to separate body paragraphs addressing each part of the prompt, and ending with a logical conclusion. Cohesive devices are used quite effectively to link ideas, such as 'Furthermore', 'On other hand', and 'To conclude'. Paragraphing is used sufficiently and appropriately, separating the economic angle from the personal responsibility angle. Although some referencing and transitional phrasing are a bit mechanical at times, such as 'This is to say', the overall progression remains clear and easy to follow, making the text cohesive and well-structured for the reader.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The writer uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common lexical items related to employment and household duties, such as 'domestic services', 'demanding jobs', and 'upbringing'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice, collocation, and word form throughout the text. Examples include 'pay other' instead of 'pay others', 'it help to getting' which contains grammatical and lexical slippage, and awkward phrasing such as 'relying entirely on paid works' and 'taking care of children by own'. While these minor lexical errors and awkward collocations are noticeable, they do not impede communication, and the vocabulary remains minimally adequate and functional for exploring the topic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The response employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating attempts at subordination and relative clauses, such as 'people who specialise in domestic services' and 'people who have demanding jobs'. There are some errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the text, including missing articles ('in local region' instead of 'in the local region'), preposition errors ('working in long hours' instead of 'working long hours'), and minor subject-verb agreement issues ('it help' instead of 'it helps'). However, these errors are relatively infrequent and rarely impede communication. The sentence structures show sufficient variety, though control over complex grammatical patterns is inconsistent, meaning error-free sentences are not consistently maintained across the entire essay.
