Student answer (Band 6.0)
Sometimes, people hire someone to do their responsibilities related to house and child, which they donot want to do or due to time shortage. It is a positive way to allocate a job for others, that helps individuals to earn living. In the fast-paced life, I donot think so the masses need to do work themselves if they can afford it and reduce their work load.
To begin with, recruiting helpers for houshold chores and looking after children is a positive development. This is because it would create a lot of job opportunities for people who are looking for livelihood. Moreover, this development can significantly improve people's quality of life because earning is a major source of surviving in this expensive world. For instance, in many developed countries millions of people are earning good amount of money from such positions. As a result, this positive development helps people to earn money.
In my opinion, if people can afford and minimize their responsibilities by hiring workers then they donot need to do it themselves. In this modern era, everyone is working and need someone for help which makes their life easier and smooth-running. Therefore, it provides several benefits to individuals and their family, as they get time to themselves and have some quality time to spend with their loved ones. For example, in India, many women hire workers for household chores which helps to reduce their work burden, which proves to be beneficial for their relaxation.
In conclusion, it is clear that this development provides jobs to unemployed people and help reduce the workload

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing whether hiring help is a good way to provide work and whether people should do these tasks themselves, maintaining a clear position throughout. However, some ideas are under-developed or repetitive. For instance, the discussion on job opportunities in the second paragraph is somewhat generalised without exploring deeper economic or social implications. To reach the next level, the ideas need to be more fully extended and supported with richer details rather than reiterating similar points across paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion, showing a logical progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion', but referencing and linking are sometimes a bit mechanical. For example, the transition between paragraphs relies on basic formulas. To improve further, the writer should use a wider variety of cohesive devices more flexibly and ensure paragraphing and referencing guide the reader smoothly through more complex arguments.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common words and phrases such as 'fast-paced life', 'houshold chores', and 'smooth-running'. However, there are noticeable vocabulary and spelling errors, such as 'donot', 'houshold', and awkward word choices like 'allocate a job' instead of 'create jobs'. These errors do not impede communication, but they restrict the score. To progress, the writer needs to demonstrate more precision in word choice, better collocation control, and accurate spelling of common terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing structures like conditional clauses ('if they can afford it') and relative clauses. There are some errors in grammar, such as 'I donot think so the masses need' and missing articles or pluralization issues, but these errors rarely impede communication and the meaning remains clear. To achieve a higher band, the writer must incorporate a wider variety of complex structures with greater frequency and reduce grammatical errors to produce more error-free sentences.
