Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this modern and competitive world, people have become workaholics to do a lot of work at same time and do not prefer to do their household chores themselvess ,due to lack of sufficient time. However, I consider it is largly a wise approach to provide work, despite it has some demerits.

To commence with, there are several reasons behind this development. First and foremost busy life of people. This is mainly because every person want to earn more money to become financially independent, doing a lot of strive work. As a result, they do not get extra time to utilize with their children. This leads to make relation weeker with each other. Consequently, sometimes children may induldge in bad habits without the taking care of parents such as smoking, crime many more. Apart from that parents should spend some time with their kids and try to do their task by themselvess so they can make relationship better.

Furthermore, providing work to other can give some free time to people do their traits in a better way without any burden of kids and house. Particullary they can easily emphasize on work, it makes their performance high in working sector. In addition, some people are not able to get a suitable job for future life. by providing work to those people can help them to fulfill their basic needs. It can not only increase the employment but also sharpen the ability of individuals to do everything alone.

In conclusion, the merits outweigh the demerits. I conclude that allowing people to do various traits at their home is best approach but people should try to do some tasks themselvess.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions and give a clear overall view: paying others is “a wise approach,” and you conclude that its benefits outweigh its drawbacks. You also recognise a relevant concern—that parents may have less time with their children—and explain how this could affect family relationships. However, the two sides are not developed equally. The discussion of employment benefits is relevant, but the claim that this work can “sharpen the ability of individuals to do everything alone” is unclear and not supported with an example. Your position would be stronger if you explained when outsourcing is beneficial and which responsibilities, especially childcare, people should still handle themselves.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “First and foremost,” “As a result,” and “In addition” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within the body paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first moves from busy schedules to children’s behaviour and then to parents doing tasks themselves, without clearly connecting these points. Some transitions are mechanical, and references such as “this development” and “their task” are not always precise. Organise each paragraph around one main point, then explain and illustrate it before moving on. A clearer contrast between the benefits of paid help and the importance of parental involvement would improve cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “financially independent,” “employment,” and “performance,” and you use some relevant terms for work and family life. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “work,” “people,” and “things,” while several inaccurate choices make meaning unclear. For example, “do their traits” appears to mean complete their tasks or pursue their interests, and “strive work” is not a natural expression. Spelling errors such as “largly,” “weeker,” and “Particullary” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of topic phrases and check collocations and spelling; this will help express your ideas without relying on vague wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple and complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect clauses such as “This is mainly because…” and “As a result…”. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in sentence construction and agreement occur across the response. For example, “every person want” needs subject–verb agreement, while “it is largely a wise approach… despite it has some demerits” has an incorrectly formed contrast clause. The sentence beginning “by providing work to those people” is also a fragment because it lacks a clear main clause. Review agreement, articles, and clause structure, and punctuate sentence boundaries carefully. Aim to make complex sentences accurate before adding more of them.
