Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent times people pay somebody to do things that they do not want to do, such as, household chores or looking after children. Although it is a good way of providing work for others, I believe that people should do most of their tasks on their own.
To begin with, some people pay a demestic helper or a nanny to take care of their house or children because of their hectic schedules. This is because people tend to work during the day and it becomes difficult for them to take care of their house or children in the same time period. Additionally, their busy schedules make them worried about safety of their house and children. For example, some parents with infants have to work and feed their children on the same time. As a result, they hire a nanny who can feed their child and perform other imrportant duties such as maintaining hygiene and cleaning.
However, I believe that people should try to perform their important duties themselves. Duties, such as, parenting which includes feeding their child, changing clothes etc. This is because, when a child spends most of their time with nanny, they may get more attached to that particular person. Therefore, they might look for the same person even in their parents presence. Furthermore, hiring an unknown person as a maid, may lead to breach security of the house and can lead to commit crimes.
To conclude, although household chores perform important duties in their owner's absence, it may lead to a serious safety concern. Therefore, people should manage to accompolish their person tasks on their own.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you acknowledge that hiring helpers provides employment, then argue that people should handle important responsibilities themselves. Your examples about working parents and childcare are relevant, and the conclusion restates your position. However, the discussion is uneven: the employment benefit is asserted rather than explained, while the argument for doing tasks personally focuses mainly on parenting and security. The claim that a child may prefer a nanny is not fully developed, and the security point would benefit from a clearer explanation or example. To strengthen the response, explain how paid domestic work benefits workers and distinguish essential personal responsibilities from chores that can reasonably be delegated.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement, with an introduction, a paragraph explaining why people hire help, a contrasting paragraph supporting your view, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “To begin with,” “However,” and “Therefore” make the main direction easy to follow. Some connections are mechanical or unclear, though. For example, “Duties, such as, parenting…” is a fragment rather than a complete transition into your point, and “household chores perform important duties” in the conclusion makes the relationship between the ideas difficult to follow. Use complete topic sentences and make pronoun references explicit; this would help the reader follow the reasoning more smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “hectic schedules,” “nanny,” “breach security,” and “maintaining hygiene.” These choices help communicate your ideas, but several inaccurate word choices, collocations, and spelling errors limit precision. “Demestic” and “imrportant” are misspelled, while “accompolish their person tasks” is not a natural expression. “Perform their important duties” is also repeated without much variation. Aim for accurate, natural combinations such as “complete personal responsibilities” and “pose a security risk.” Proofreading spelling and checking how words combine would make your vocabulary more effective and reliable.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because,” “when,” and “although,” and most of the meaning remains understandable. Some grammatical errors nevertheless affect clarity. “People pay somebody” needs a more appropriate tense for a general trend, and “feed their children on the same time” has an incorrect grammatical pattern. The sentence beginning “Duties, such as, parenting” is incomplete, while “may lead to commit crimes” has faulty verb construction. Punctuation around “such as” is also inconsistent. Practise forming complete sentences and check verb patterns after expressions such as “lead to”; these changes would improve accuracy while preserving your attempts at complex structures.
