Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view: hiring help can benefit both workers and people who lack time or expertise, while simple tasks may be done independently. The examples of painters, carpenters and babysitters are relevant, and the discussion of childcare routines adds some support. However, the two parts of the question are not developed equally. The benefits of providing work are mentioned, but the explanation of why this is a good way to provide employment remains brief. Your answer to whether people should do these tasks themselves is also quite general; the distinction between simple jobs and work requiring expertise needs clearer examples and explanation. Develop each position with a specific example and make your conclusion reflect both parts of the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the one side,” “on the other side” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of your argument. The main ideas are generally grouped appropriately, and the reader can follow the broad contrast between hiring professionals and doing tasks oneself. However, some links are mechanical, and the progression within paragraphs is not always clear: the point about saving “time and money” is not fully explained, and the childcare example shifts quickly to workers’ families. Use clearer links between each claim and its example, and make references such as “these things” or “it” more precise. This would make the argument flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “professional,” “household works,” “busy work schedule,” “damages” and “child development.” These choices show an attempt to discuss employment, expertise and childcare rather than relying only on very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors make parts difficult to interpret, such as “babe sitting,” “small repaired,” “wins wins” and “feed the families of the worker.” Some expressions are also imprecise, including “small sector” and “simple to simple works.” Build a more accurate set of phrases for domestic services and employment, and check spelling and natural word combinations. More precise vocabulary would help communicate your ideas without changing their meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “when they having the proper knowledge and experince” and a relative clause in “the person providing these services are experts.” This shows an effort to express conditions and add detail. However, errors in sentence structure and basic grammar occur frequently and sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. For example, “it save time,” “people needs to hire,” and “they faces problems” show problems with subject–verb agreement, while “people needs to done” has an incorrect verb pattern. Articles and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement and verb forms in each sentence.
