Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays the most of people prefer to do things by other people with the help of paying money like either household chores or looking after children. This is the good way to reduce unemployment rate as well as people do these thingd by ownselves which help to keep them physically fit.

On the one hand, majority of people are busy in their office wok and they do working for 8 hours in the day. They do not have capcity to do not only household chores but also take care their children, they hire a person to do these tasks and pay them. For example, a person who have dire need of work but unable to find work, by doing others household works and take care their children they earn money. As, in case of take care children there are plenty off tasks are available like, bathing, prepare their meal as well as eye catch on them what they are doing. By doing this kind of work that person easily complete their basic neccessities. as a result, it may help to decline unemlopyment rate from the country.

However, people do these kind of things by themselves as they know better what is the right time to do any task and they are physical fit. For instance, majority of people are doing work with the help of technology and they do not have enough time to do any kind of exercise. During household chores they have plenty off tasks like, laundry, cooking as well as cleaning. All tasks are done by physically.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: the first body paragraph explains how hiring help can provide income, while the second argues that doing chores oneself can support physical fitness. These are relevant points, and the example of a worker earning money through childcare and household tasks helps illustrate the employment benefit. However, the position is not fully clear: the introduction presents both benefits without stating which view you support or how you weigh them. The second question is also only partly developed; being physically active is mentioned, but there is little discussion of whether people should personally do these tasks or when hiring help may be preferable. Explain and support both sides more fully, then give a clear overall judgement.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction followed by one paragraph for each main viewpoint, and signposts such as “On the one hand” and “However” help readers identify the contrast. The ideas within the first body paragraph generally relate to employment, and the second focuses on exercise. However, progression is limited: the introduction does not establish a clear line of argument, and the conclusion is missing, so the discussion ends without bringing the two views together. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, as in “As, in case of take care children,” and several details are listed without showing how they connect to the main point. Use clearer transitions between claims and examples, and finish with a brief summary of your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “unemployment rate,” “household chores,” “basic necessities,” and “physically fit,” which allows the main ideas to be understood. However, the range is limited and several word choices, collocations, and spelling errors make the writing less natural or occasionally difficult to follow. Examples include “office wok,” “eye catch on them,” “plenty off tasks,” and “decline unemployment rate.” Repetition of “do,” “tasks,” and “people” also restricts precision. Build a wider set of accurate expressions for employment, domestic work, and childcare, and check spelling and collocations. For example, use “keep an eye on children” rather than “eye catch on them,” and “reduce the unemployment rate” rather than “decline unemployment rate.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the contrastive opening “On the one hand” and the example introduced by “For example.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation. For instance, “a person who have” should use a verb agreeing with “person,” while “they do working for 8 hours” has an incorrect verb pattern. The sentence beginning “They do not have capacity to do not only…” is difficult to follow because its structure is not controlled. There are also run-on or poorly punctuated sentences, such as the final sentence of the first body paragraph. Practise building accurate complex sentences and check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
