Student answer (Band 5.5)
While some people hire workers for accomplishing their household tasks and taking care of their kids when they are away from home, sometimes they do not have enough time and pay them to do this job. Some says that is it a good way of providing employment to the individuals who are in search of work and others asserts that they should do their things on their own. I believe that it depends on the particular situation of the person who is willing to pay somebody for the essential works in the house.
On the one hand, if people are providing work to others, they are generating a income source for them. Due to shortages of jobs people are not able to find jobs in their fields, so in a meantime it would be the best option for the job seekers which could facilitate them in handling their personal expenses. Consequently, this option will offer benefits to both the parties such as people who hire them they can concentrate on their work without any stress.
According to some, people should do these household chores and looking after their kids by themselves because if they complete these works by their own, they will be more satisfied. For instance, taking care of children should be the main priority for the parents because raising kids in their own hands will provide them greater satisfaction and they know their offsprings are in the safer environment. As a result, people should priortise their tasks which needs them rather than depending on the workers.
To conclude, I think every person deals with different situation in their life so they choose a option to hire someone. In this busy world, people are running for the money which is extremely important for person's need, thats why they require employees for their personal chores.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions by explaining that hiring others can provide income and help employers focus on their work, while also presenting the view that parents should care for their own children. Your position—that the choice depends on a person’s circumstances—is stated in the introduction and conclusion. However, the discussion is uneven: the employment benefit is explained briefly, and the case for doing tasks oneself focuses mainly on childcare rather than household chores. The conclusion repeats the general position without resolving when hiring help is preferable or acknowledging possible drawbacks. Develop each side with a specific example and explain how it supports your view; this would make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the one hand,” “For instance,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the argument. Overall, the ideas are arranged coherently, but progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical or unclear. For example, “Consequently” introduces a benefit to employers, although the preceding sentence is about job seekers, so the relationship between the ideas is not fully clear. The conclusion also largely repeats the introduction. Use clearer links between cause and result, and make each paragraph develop one central point before moving to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to discuss employment, household responsibilities, and childcare, including phrases such as “income source,” “job seekers,” and “personal expenses.” There are also attempts at more formal wording, such as “prioritise their tasks.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “accomplishing their household tasks,” “in a meantime,” and “raising kids in their own hands.” Some expressions are also repetitive, particularly “people,” “work,” and “tasks.” Choose more natural combinations and vary repeated terms; for example, say “carry out household tasks,” “in the meantime,” and “raise their children themselves.” Check spelling and word forms such as “offspring” and “prioritise” as well.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional and subordinate structures, as in “if people are providing work to others” and “because if they complete these works by their own.” This gives the response some variety, and the main ideas are generally understandable. However, errors in agreement, articles, and sentence construction recur: “Some says” should be “Some say,” “a income source” should be “an income source,” and “a option” should be “an option.” The opening sentence is also awkwardly constructed, combining the idea of hiring workers with a repeated explanation about paying them. Review subject–verb agreement and article use, and simplify sentences when several ideas are being joined so that the relationships remain clear.
