Student answer (Band 6.0)

In recent times, it is possible to to hire paid service for doing daily chores or looking after children when you don't want to do itor don't have time to do. In my opinion, It is a good way to provide work for others. If there is an option available , it is not mandatory to do do these things themselves.

The providing work of baby sitting, household chores like cooking ,cleaning ,gardening is good way of providing work for others. Because, due to this , they have chance to earn money. Everyone will have some kind of income. This jobs are taken by mostly university or high-school children. With the help of money earned , they pay their rent, groceries or even tution fees as well. This jobs are flexible and do not require extra ordinory skills. To sight an example, I was saving my university fees since i was in High School by baby-sitting kids of my neighbour.

Moreover, the working hours has became longer than previous times. The parents spend avarege 8-10 hours for professional duties. After finishing this, they have to look after daily cleaning ,cooking laundry etc. As a result, work-life balance becomes difficult. This is the reason that instead of doing thes things by themselves, they shold employ person . It can also give them some time to sit, relax and do some recreation activities. For example, my friend has hire a cook for supper, so after coming from office she can enjoy supper with family.

To conclude, seeking help from outside for the routine house hold work is a benificial in all manner. The person who is helping also get some advantage.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear: you consider paid help a good source of work and say people do not have to perform every household task themselves. You address both questions with relevant reasons, including income for students and the pressure on working parents, and your babysitting and cook examples make the points personal and concrete. This meets the task well overall. However, the first argument is more fully supported than the second: the benefits to workers are explained in detail, while the case for hiring help could explore its limits or explain more fully why this choice is preferable for families. Develop each main point with a little more explanation to make the response more consistently persuasive and complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs develop separate reasons, and the conclusion restates your position. The progression from employment opportunities to parents’ time pressures is logical, and examples are placed where they support the relevant point. Linking phrases such as “Moreover,” “As a result,” and “To conclude” help guide the reader. At times, however, connections feel mechanical or the relationship between sentences is not fully clear, as in “Because, due to this, they have chance to earn money.” Some references, such as “This jobs,” also make it harder to follow the point smoothly. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each explanation directly to the claim it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to discuss household work, employment, and family routines, including “work-life balance,” “professional duties,” and “recreation activities.” The examples also show an attempt to use topic-specific language rather than relying entirely on basic terms. However, noticeable word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors limit precision: “paid service” is awkward for this meaning, “The providing work” is unnatural, and “extra ordinory” and “avarege” are misspelled. Phrases such as “in all manner” and “This jobs” are also not idiomatic. These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your main ideas, but they make the writing less natural. Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships and checking spelling and forms during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional opening (“If there is an option available…”) and a cause-and-effect sentence beginning “As a result.” This gives the response some structural variety. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction recur. For example, “the working hours has became” should use a plural subject and a correct verb form, while “my friend has hire” needs the appropriate participle. The opening also contains repeated words and an incomplete construction around “when you don't want to do it.” These problems sometimes make sentences awkward to process. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and revise each sentence to ensure its clauses are complete.
