Student answer (Band 5.5)

There is a option to pay somebody to do tasks you don't want to do or due to lack of time for household work or taking care of children. It is a good development to provide work to others and this essay will discuss reasons why it is a good thing.

Firstly, It is a good way to hire a helper to do work at your home or taking care of children in your absence. Moreover, some people have busy schedule at their workplace due to this they do not have sufficient time for work at home such as cooking, dusting and children handling. In some countries, for example in Pakistan a healthcare professional has to do 24 to 48 hours of night shift results in unavailability to do these things themselves. Thus, an office worker who are frustrated at their job are not want to do work at home.

Another significant reason for this is that, if people pay to others for washing clothes and making bags for their school going children, it would leads to employment sources for others. In addition to this, individuals working at other house results in sense of independence by earning money to fulfil their family needs. Furthermore, in this era of rising inflation, everyone wants to earn to fulfill their basic necessities. In European states, for instance in Canada, many Indiana people are doing work at Canadian house to meet needs of their children.

In conclusion, to provide work to others is a good thing for office workers as well as for helpers or maids because it share the burden of a working person at an organization as well as develop source of earning for poor.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear: you consider paying others to do household tasks a positive way to create work. You support this with relevant points about busy workers and income for helpers, including the example of healthcare staff working long shifts. However, the task asks both whether this provides work and whether people should do these things themselves. The first question is addressed more fully; the second is only implied through the benefits of hiring help, without considering when people might reasonably do chores themselves or giving a balanced explanation. Some examples, such as “making bags for their school going children,” are not clearly connected to the main argument. Develop both parts explicitly and explain your examples more precisely.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, and a conclusion that restates your view. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” “Another significant reason,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main points. However, some links feel mechanical, and the relationship between ideas is occasionally unclear. For example, the sentence about “washing clothes and making bags” moves quickly from household services to employment without explaining the connection, while the Canada example is not clearly tied to the preceding claim. The conclusion also repeats the main points rather than drawing them together. Use clearer references and explain how each example supports the paragraph’s central idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “household work,” “sufficient time,” “employment,” “independence,” and “rising inflation.” These choices make the main subject and your position understandable. However, several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “children handling,” “employment sources,” “working at other house,” and “share the burden” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There is also repetition of general terms such as “work” and “things.” Aim for more precise collocations and vary the vocabulary for domestic tasks and paid services. For instance, describe people as “hiring domestic help” and say this “creates employment opportunities” rather than “employment sources.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if,” and “who,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors occur frequently in sentence structure and agreement, and some make the reader pause. Examples include “There is a option,” “some people have busy schedule,” and “an office worker who are … are not want.” The conditional sentence “it would leads to employment sources” also combines verb forms incorrectly. There are problems with articles, plurals, and punctuation, including the capitalised “It” after “Firstly” and the comma after “this is that.” Practise checking subject–verb agreement and using one correctly formed verb phrase in each clause.
