Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you argue that paying others creates jobs and explain why people may not be able to manage every task themselves. The personal example about being paid to help your sister gives relevant support and makes the benefit concrete. However, the response focuses much more on why people hire help than on whether people should do these tasks themselves; that second part is only briefly answered with the point that work takes time and energy. Some claims, such as the reference to “good paying jobs,” are asserted rather than explained. Develop both sides more evenly, state your overall view clearly in the introduction, and explain when doing tasks oneself might be preferable, such as when a person has the time or wants to care for family directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from a general claim to reasons and then a personal example. The example about your sister is relevant and gives the final paragraph a clear focus. However, the overall progression is not always clear: the opening repeats the idea that hiring people provides jobs, and the second paragraph largely restates it rather than advancing the argument. Connections between points are sometimes abrupt, as in the move from the general statement about physical energy to day-care and elderly homes. Use each paragraph for a distinct purpose, and add clearer links showing how examples support your position. More consistent sentence boundaries and punctuation would also make the relationships between ideas easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “house chores,” “work load,” “day cares,” and “marketing manager,” and the personal example shows you can describe a specific situation. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repetitive or imprecise, particularly repeated references to “jobs” and “work.” Some word combinations are unnatural, such as “execute tasks,” “work description,” and “handover all the duties at the house me,” which can make the meaning less clear. Spelling and word-form errors, including “chorse” and “who's” where a plural reference is intended, also affect accuracy. Aim for more natural collocations and precise terms for paid domestic help and household responsibilities.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a personal example with several connected details. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, sentence structure, and punctuation sometimes make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “people often pays” should use a plural verb, while “Individuals has provided” has the same agreement problem. The sentence beginning “For example many people” is fragmented by punctuation around “firm,” and the final example contains a sentence fragment beginning “which is a high paying job.” Review subject–verb agreement, sentence boundaries, and the construction of relative clauses. Building accurate complex sentences before adding more clauses will improve clarity.
