Student answer (Band 5.0)

In these modern days no one having a spare time to do house hold chores or looking after children. Fact that, everyone want somebody to do things that they can't do in their busy schedule such as cleaning home, looking after children. Therefore, few people have chance to providing a person and pay them for those work. I do not completely agree with this statement.

To begin with, in this recent days people having busy schedule in there daily life children taking therse education, elders going for jobs and there was note enough time to spend in home for household chores and looking after children. I go early and back late nights, and exhausted to do extra work it's getting difficult to manage everything at home and at work.

Furthermore, I want to hire a person to look over the house and looking after children for that I pay certain amount that might help for them. The person should look over the house such as, moping, sweeping, dusting, doing laundry, washing the dishes, cleaning the garden and attic, and looking after children when they back to home after completing their classes, they have to cook and feed the children before parents arrive to home.

To conclude, while not getting off with work we can manage our household chores or looking after children by hiring somebody and paying certain amount. By that our home get sanitized and clean. It is possible to pay somebody to do things that we don't want to do, or we don't obtain enough time to do. Thus, we can hire a person and pay them to do all the works instead of us.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both questions by arguing that hiring help can provide paid work and make it easier for busy people to manage home responsibilities. The examples of cleaning tasks and childcare are relevant, and your personal situation adds some support. However, the position is not fully clear: “I do not completely agree with this statement” does not specify which part you disagree with, while the conclusion strongly endorses hiring help. The question also asks whether people should do these tasks themselves, but this alternative is not meaningfully discussed. Develop a balanced explanation of when hiring help is beneficial and when people might reasonably do chores themselves, then state your view consistently and support it with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. “To begin with” and “Furthermore” signal the movement between points, and the examples in the second body paragraph relate to the topic. However, progression is limited because the first body paragraph repeats the idea that people are busy, and the second mainly lists duties rather than developing a clear argument about employment or personal responsibility. Some links are awkward or unclear, such as “Therefore, few people have chance to providing a person,” and the conclusion repeats the prompt instead of drawing together the main reasons. Organise each body paragraph around one distinct answer to the questions and use clearer links between claim, explanation and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the general subject, including “household chores,” “looking after children,” “laundry” and “washing the dishes.” The range is nevertheless limited and several choices or collocations make the meaning less natural, for example “spare time,” “provide a person,” “look over the house” and “sanitized and clean.” There are also spelling and word-form problems such as “moping” and “thers[e] education,” which reduce precision. Try to use more accurate phrases for employing domestic help and describe the benefit in specific terms, rather than relying on repeated references to being busy and doing “work.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a sentence that lists household duties and childcare responsibilities. However, errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to follow. For example, “no one having a spare time” lacks a finite verb, while “everyone want” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. Tense and sentence construction are also inconsistent in “elders going for jobs and there was note enough time,” and the long sentence beginning “The person should look over the house” joins several ideas without clear control. Practise complete clauses, consistent present-tense forms, agreement and articles. Breaking long sentences into shorter units will help you express the examples more accurately.
