Should people do these things themselves?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, many people have hectic schedules and they cannot manage their household chores or looking after children. Therefore, they hire other people to do household chores or other things. I believe hiring people to perform household tasks creates valuable job opportunities; however, individuals should also take responsibility for completing basic household chores themselves.
To begin, when they hire ather people then they creates employment opportunities for cleaners, babysitters and caregivers. When people earn money they can use it for different purposes such as support family, raise living standards and financial stability. Moreover, people can focus on their job and make their career brighter and financially stable. For instance, when both parents are working in that case they can hire a babysitter while they are at work. So, hiring people to perform household tasks can benefit both employers and employees.
On the contrary, people should do their basic household chores by themselves. Because when they totally depend upon other people they became lathergic and lazy. When they do their basic tasks they can teach responsibility and independence to their children. Apart from this, people can divide their household work such as cooking, cleaning and washing. People can speand quality time with their children instead of depending entirely on babysitters and they can make strong emotional bond with their kids from very young age.
In the final anlysis, hiring people is good way to create employment for multiple people. However, people should manage basic household responsibilities themselves. In my opinion, a balance between doing tasks independently and a hiring help is the best approach.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both questions and maintain a clear, balanced position: hiring help can create employment, while people should still handle basic responsibilities themselves. The examples of cleaners, babysitters and working parents are relevant, and the conclusion restates your view. This meets the core requirements well. To make the response more fully developed, explain some claims in greater depth. For example, you say paid help can improve workers’ financial stability, but do not explore how this work benefits them beyond earning money. Likewise, the point that doing chores teaches children responsibility could be supported with a specific illustration. More precise explanation of these ideas would strengthen the support and make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph supporting paid help, a contrasting paragraph about personal responsibility, and a conclusion. The progression is easy to follow, and signposts such as “To begin,” “On the contrary,” and “In the final analysis” help show the relationship between ideas. Some linking is repetitive or mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “When” and “Moreover,” and several sentences begin with similar patterns. The opening of the second body paragraph, “Because when they totally depend upon other people,” is also an awkward fragment that interrupts the flow. Use a wider range of transitions and connect related points more smoothly within paragraphs to make cohesion less noticeable.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “employment opportunities,” “financial stability,” “responsibility,” and “independence.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and some topic-specific terms such as “caregivers” and “babysitter” are appropriate. However, several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors reduce precision: “make their career brighter” is unnatural, “lathergic” is misspelled, and “strong emotional bond” needs an article. There is also repetition of “household chores,” “people,” and “basic tasks.” Aim for more natural combinations and vary repeated terms—for example, use “domestic responsibilities” or “paid childcare” where appropriate. Proofreading spelling and word forms would make your vocabulary more controlled.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “when,” “while,” and “instead of,” and your meaning is generally clear. However, some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction remain. For example, “they creates employment opportunities” should use a plural verb, while “they became lathergic” needs a present-tense form to match the general argument. “When both parents are working in that case” combines two structures awkwardly, and “Because when they totally depend upon other people” is not a complete sentence. There are also missing articles in phrases such as “a balance” and “a hiring help.” Check subject–verb agreement and ensure each sentence has a complete main clause; this will improve accuracy while preserving your attempts at complex structures.
