Student answer (Band 5.5)

well, in this contemporay era people are busy in their jobs and studies. They do not have time to do household chores and looking for their children. In these days, i think it is possible to pay somebody to do our houshold work and looking to children beavuse we don not have time to do these things because of busy schedule. Accordimg to me, it is excellent way to provide work to others. Whereas, some people think that they should do by themselves. I am agree with thode who said we should pay to others to take care of kids and do household chores.

To start with, i am going to explain the reasons why we should pay someone to do household chores and take care of children. First and foremost reason is that parents are busy in their work thesedays. They are doing jobs 24/7. When they came to home they do not have time to do the dishes and make food for them and children. In this situation, they need person who can make food for them and take care of their kids. secondly, they have alot of extra burden of their work on their mind. They do not have to do relax. when they take hoildays from their work they can take their kids to do for outing and can spend time with each orher that thing will help to make good bond with their family and kids.

on the other hand, people those are at home they can do by these things by themselves. They free at home all the time. they have plenty of time to do household things and take care of their children. Moreover, tbey can save money bye doing things own. The person who is taking care of their kids no take care as parents do moreover sometimes they do work in hurry and not complete their work before they go home.

In conclusion, people who are working hore person who will help to take care of kids and also can make food for them instead of people who are free at home. This thing will give benefits to those who are busy in their work and studies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall preference for paying someone to help, and you address both questions by discussing employment and whether people should do the work themselves. Your reasons about parents’ busy schedules and having more time to spend with children are relevant. However, the employment aspect is only briefly asserted in “excellent way to provide work to others” and is not supported with an example or explanation of how this benefits workers. The opposing view is also general, and the claim that people at home are “free all the time” is too broad. Develop each side with more specific, balanced reasoning and examples, and make your position clearer and more consistent from the introduction to the conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting paid help, a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “To start with,” “First and foremost,” and “On the other hand” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several ideas are joined without a clear relationship. For example, the point about parents taking holidays and going on outings follows the workload argument abruptly. Some transitions are mechanical or incorrectly used, including “Whereas” in the introduction and “Moreover” before a repeated concern about carers. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each explanation directly to its main point, and ensure pronouns such as “they” have an unmistakable reference.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “household chores,” “take care of their kids,” “extra burden,” and “good bond.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repetitive or imprecise, particularly repeated references to being busy and doing household work. There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “contemporay,” “houshold,” “beavuse,” and “hoildays,” which can distract the reader. Some collocations are unnatural, for example “take their kids to do for outing” and “do not have to do relax.” Build a wider set of accurate phrases for domestic work, childcare, employment, and family time, and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the response is generally understandable. However, the range of structures is limited, and complex sentences often contain errors that make some passages difficult to follow. Examples include “When they came to home” and “they do not have to do relax”; these show problems with tense, articles, and sentence construction. There are also errors in agreement and sentence formation, as in “The person who is taking care of their kids no take care as parents do.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, with several sentences beginning in lowercase and some run-on constructions. Practise accurate past and present forms, articles, and clause structure, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
