Student answer (Band 6.0)
These days, people hire home support workers to maintain their household chores and looking after their children. From my perspective, although it is beneficial for working individuals, such activities such as cooking can work as a therapy for them. I will elaborate reasons for my answers and include relevant examples in the following paragraphs.
The primary reason why people pay somebody to do things such as household chores and looking after child is that it saves time. For example, while doing full-time jobs some parents cannot manage their housework and take care of their kids. They pay to someone who can cook, clean and look after their kids. As a result, this not only helpful for them to focuses on their work but it also decreases the pressure on them since they know someone is present at their home who will take care of their house and child. Furthermore, Children need support in their younger age. They might seek for a company. They might indulge in bad company if someone does not care about them. If parents do have time to take care of their children, it is better to have someone at home who can take the responsibility of their house and kids. Thus, it is a positive development.
However, people should consider their own houses and children. For some people household chores are kind of a therapy. If they totally depend on others to cook meals or cleaning their houses etc. for them, they might get bored one day. Resultantly, to some extent for mind stimulations people should consider their responsibilities which will give them varity. Secondly, it might affect parents and children relationship. For instance, if parents do not spend quality time with their children, their love for parents will reduce. It might become a trauma for them, which could stay with them a the life time. Consequently, their growth will be affected negatively. Therefore, couples should manage their life accordingly in which they can give time to their home and child.
In conclusion, although there are some advantages of hiring support workers such as they take the responsibility of children along with home, parents should understand the balance such as they should also take their responsibilities which is very crucial.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a clear overall view: hiring help can support busy parents, but people should remain involved in household and childcare responsibilities. The examples about full-time work and children needing company are relevant, and you also explain possible effects on the parent–child relationship. However, some points are more fully developed than others. The claim that children may “indulge in bad company” is asserted without explaining how paid care prevents this, while the idea that chores provide “therapy” could be clarified with a more specific example. Develop each main reason with a clear explanation or illustration, and make the distinction between employing help and transferring all responsibility more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph supporting paid help, a contrasting paragraph about personal responsibility, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the argument, and the ideas generally progress logically. This meets the lower-band expectation of clear overall organisation and shows some of the flexibility associated with stronger cohesion. At times, though, connections feel mechanical or the reference is unclear—for example, “Thus, it is a positive development” follows several different points without specifying which one it summarises. The long sentence beginning “As a result” also combines several effects. Use clearer topic sentences and make links between each claim and its explanation more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic, including phrases such as “full-time jobs,” “quality time,” “mind stimulation,” and “positive development.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or imprecise, such as “maintain their household chores,” “seek for a company,” and “their love for parents will reduce.” There are also spelling or word-form slips, including “varity” and “a the life time.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding your argument, but they limit precision and naturalness. Prefer familiar, accurate collocations, and check spelling and word forms carefully; for example, say “manage household chores” and “seek companionship.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex forms, including conditional structures (“If they totally depend on others…”) and clauses explaining consequences. Most of the argument remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur across the response. Examples include “such activities such as cooking can work” (an awkward, duplicated structure), “this not only helpful” (missing a verb), and “it is better to have someone… who can take the responsibility” (article and phrasing control). There are also errors in agreement and sentence construction, as in “their love for parents will reduce” and “in which they can give time.” Work on complete verb phrases, articles, and consistent sentence patterns. Proofreading for punctuation and sentence boundaries will also help you express complex ideas more accurately.
