Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is considered normal to pay someone to complete household tasks that you don't want to do on your own or supervise children when you are preoccupied with work. I believe this is an efficient way of offering employment to the deserving individuals. Although these routine tasks should be carried out on your own, hiring household help offers individuals some relaxation and a little break from their exhausting lives.
Employing someone to help you with housework or babysitting offers deserving individuals, young adults and retired people an opportunity to earn in their free time to make both ends meet, support their family or their education. For example, in western countries, many college students who are not qualified for professional jobs, offer to babysit children in their neighbourhood to save money for daily expenses.
Ideally, these tasks should be carried out by the individuals themselves, but nowadays people are so exhausted by their jobs that they prefer to pay someone to get their work done. I believe this approach is beneficial because it offers individuals with some personal time, a break from their mundane life and a chance to relax. For instance, couples choose to visit restaurants with play facility that charge you per hour to look after the children while they enjoy their meal.
In conclusion, it is possible to pay someone to carry out household tasks that are time consuming or requires a lot of effort. It is an efficient way of creating an employment for the deserving individuals, moreover, this approach provides individuals with an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and make your position clear: paying for help can provide employment and give people time to rest, while you acknowledge that people could do these tasks themselves. The examples about students babysitting and couples using a restaurant’s childcare facility are relevant and help illustrate your points. However, the second question—whether people should do these things themselves—is less fully explored. You briefly say they ideally should, but then focus mainly on the benefits of hiring help, without explaining when personal responsibility might be preferable or what considerations matter. Develop this contrast and extend the examples with more explanation to make the response more balanced and fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs addressing the main ideas, and a conclusion. The progression from employment benefits to personal convenience is easy to follow, and phrases such as “For example” and “For instance” signal supporting details. Cohesion is sometimes mechanical, however, because the paragraphs rely on similar example-led patterns and repeated references to “individuals” and “tasks.” The conclusion also joins separate claims with “moreover” in a way that makes the sentence feel crowded. Use a wider range of linking and referencing, and make the relationship between the two sides of the question clearer—for example, contrast the benefits of paid help with situations where doing chores oneself is preferable.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “household tasks,” “babysitting,” “mundane life,” and “rejuvenate.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and some less common expressions show an effort to vary your language. There are, however, several imprecise or unnatural collocations, such as “offering employment to the deserving individuals,” “offers individuals with some personal time,” and “creating an employment.” “Deserving” is also not clearly justified in this context. Aim for more natural, precise phrasing and avoid repeating “individuals” and “tasks.” For example, describe paid help as “creating job opportunities” and say it “gives people more free time.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession in “Although these routine tasks should be carried out on your own” and a relative clause in “students who are not qualified for professional jobs.” Meaning remains clear throughout. Some grammatical errors occur, particularly with agreement and sentence construction. In the conclusion, “tasks … requires” should use a plural verb, and “It is an efficient way of creating an employment” has an unnecessary article before the uncountable noun “employment.” The sentence beginning “For example” also needs clearer punctuation around its inserted clause. Review subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, while continuing to use varied structures.
