IELTS Writing Task 2 question

It is sometimes possible to pay somebody to do things you don't want to do, or don't have time to do, for example, household chores or looking after children.

Is this a good way of providing work for others?

Should people do these things themselves?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this contemporary era, people are very busy in their work life. Owing to this they get tired and they do not have enough time to take care of their juveniles and work at their home . While there are various causes of this phenomenon,however, certain steps could be taken to mitigate this solution.

There are several reasons why this problem happened. The most compelling is that women are independent in these days .To explain, nowdays, everyone wants everything in their life. however, some ladies are not educated but proficient in practical work like take care of kids and household works. Due to this, they can earn good money and able to fulfilling the needs of their family members. Consequently, they are happy in their life by doing these kinds of work . Moreover, Stressful environment in the work life. To explain it , In this modern era, People are too lazy because of this they cannot make the balance between their personal and professional life . Although work is important for them as they need the money , mutitudes think that by giving small money to destitute people their household work is completed and children are also safe at home.

Some possible courses of action could be taken to alleviate the above problem. First and foremost , children are not attach with their parents . As people are money minded so they spend too much at their work places. thus, it will create the gap between parents and kids. Secondly, Spending time with their kids and family members they can reduce the stress of their working life . As kids are doing many activities when they are child. If parents are seeing these kind of activities it will help them to reduce their stress also they are spending the time of their children which automattically reduce the gap between both generations.

In conclusion , numerous factors have contributed to the above situation such asuneducated ladies can get money and stressful work environment at work . however, this solutions could be adrressed by spending quality time with their family members .

You attempt a range of vocabulary, including “contemporary era,” “mitigate,” “proficient,” “professional life” and “quality time.” This shows some willingness to use less common language, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural and sometimes make the meaning unclear. For instance, “juveniles” is an unsuitable term for children in this context, “mitigate this solution” does not express a clear meaning, and “mutitudes” appears to be a misspelling of “multitudes.” Phrases such as “household works” and “money minded” also need more natural forms. Aim for precise, familiar collocations rather than inserting formal words where they do not fit, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
