Should people do these things themselves?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowadays it is very speaded to pay somebody else for helping with some important tasks that people do not want to do by themselves or do not have enough time.

From my perspective, a delegating your work is a good possibility for others who need a job. Moreover, I believe that people are not supposed to take a responsibility for everything in their life if they can afford an employer.

Firstly, aome people are able to pay for simple routine tasks that they find boring and to spend time for something more valuable. For example, to spend time with their partner or to put effort in the work.

At the same time, for others who usually do not have a diploma that is a good possibility to make good money without education requirements. Some teenagers in their free time can find this type of work is convinient for themselves. As a result, the both sides are happy to spend the time productively.

Secondly, a possibility to work for the people without a higher education increases the economy of the world and make it stronger. Therefore, there are more employes and less poverty in the society. When in the country you can find a job in an every level is a good thing because you can provide a health care and money to your family. In the results, also the country will have a benefit of those people.

In conclusion, I think that this type of work is good for the both sides, either for employers and employees.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You give a clear overall view: paying others to do these tasks can benefit both employers and workers, and your conclusion restates this position. You address both sides of the question by explaining that employers gain time and workers, including people without higher education, can earn money. These are relevant points, but some are less fully developed than others. For instance, the benefit of spending time with a partner or focusing on work is illustrated, while the claim that this arrangement strengthens the world economy and reduces poverty is asserted without a specific explanation or example. The second question—whether people should do these things themselves—is addressed indirectly through your view that they need not take responsibility for everything if they can afford help. Make this comparison more explicit and support the economic claims with clearer reasoning or an example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning with “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from benefits to employers and workers to wider economic effects, so the reader can follow the main argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “At the same time” introduces the workers’ benefit, but the relationship between that point and the preceding sentence could be made more explicit. The sentence beginning “When in the country…” is difficult to follow, and “In the results” does not clearly signal the intended consequence. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each claim to its explanation. More precise referencing and transitions would make the progression smoother without relying mainly on basic sequencing words.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “routine tasks,” “education requirements,” “poverty,” and “provide a health care.” There are also attempts to express broader concepts such as employment and economic benefits. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make phrases awkward: “speaded,” “aome,” “convinient,” and “employes” are misspelled, while “a delegating your work” and “the both sides” are not natural expressions. Some collocations also need attention; for example, “make good money without education requirements” and “increases the economy of the world” are imprecise. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common word partnerships, such as “earn a living” and “boost the economy,” while retaining your relevant topic vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if they can afford an employer” and a result clause beginning “As a result.” Most of the intended meaning can be understood, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “a delegating your work is a good possibility” has an incorrect article and structure, while “the both sides are happy” uses an unnecessary article. In “increases the economy of the world and make it stronger,” the verbs do not agree, and “Some teenagers … can find this type of work is convenient” combines clauses incorrectly. The sentence beginning “When in the country…” also lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise accurate clause construction, articles, and subject–verb agreement, then proofread complex sentences carefully.
