Dear xyz,
I hope you are doing well. i am Sagar, Who recently rented one of your apartment in Etobicoke city.
Now i would like to remind you that my renting term has just six-months contract but as we discussed before if i decide to stay here more than agreement, I can extend it.
As i told you that time that my children are studying in school so i have to find the place near to school and luckily it is near from this apartment. Not only these neighbourhood is decently helpful too. As these apartment has a all security features like cameras, guards and gate, I feel more relax while working in night shifts as i do not need to worry about my family safety/
As you promised me that at the end of contract i mean six-months later you will buy a new oven and dishwasher because of more consumption of electricity i would recommond you to swap it with new one as soon as you can after incident of of short-circut at last week.
Your faithfully
Sagar

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: stating the desired extension length, explaining the change in plans, and reporting a maintenance issue. However, the development of these points is somewhat uneven. While the reasons for staying are clear, the request for the extension is not explicitly stated in terms of a specific duration (e.g., 'six more months'), which makes the request slightly vague. Additionally, the transition to the maintenance issue is abrupt and lacks a polite introductory tone typical of a formal request letter. To improve, ensure each requirement is addressed with specific details and maintain a consistent, professional tone throughout the correspondence.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The letter follows a basic logical structure, but the paragraphing is insufficient. The entire body of the letter is presented as a single block of text, which makes it difficult to follow the shift from the rental extension to the maintenance problem. While you use some cohesive devices like 'not only' and 'as', the flow is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing and run-on sentences. To reach a higher band, you should use clear paragraph breaks to separate the different topics (the extension request, the reasons, and the maintenance issue) and ensure that linking words are used more naturally to connect your ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'renting term', 'agreement', and 'short-circuit'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'near from this apartment' (should be 'near this apartment') and 'decently helpful' (which is not a standard collocation). There are also minor spelling errors like 'recommond' and 'short-circut'. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they limit the precision and sophistication of your writing. Expanding your vocabulary to include more natural collocations for formal requests would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is a positive step. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the' apartment), subject-verb agreement, and punctuation. For example, 'i am Sagar, Who recently rented...' contains an unnecessary capital letter and a comma splice. Additionally, 'my renting term has just six-months contract' is grammatically incorrect. While the meaning remains clear, the frequency of these errors indicates a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of basic sentence construction. Focusing on consistent verb tense usage and correct article placement will help improve your accuracy.
