IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mr. Smith,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I want to extend my agreement for renting apartment.

I am living in this basement apartment from five months ago and now I want to extend our agreement for again next six months because firstly my job owner want to change my job location in six months but due to some reasons now, they want me to stay at same Subway for next six months. This basement is near to my workplace as well as I feel comfortable here because all the neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

But my room door shows some problems recently it doesn't lock properly as well as we also have shower problem because the water continuously leakage from the shower.

I would appreciate it if you repaired these things as quickly as possible and also give me permission to stay for next six months.
