IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mr. Brown,

I am writing you with regard to extend my stay at your apartment as a tenant that before I have been signed an agreement with you only for six months. I am now interested to stay here at least for more two years and my family also will be there with me during these years so I required fully apartment at all.

Recently, I got promoted at my job with extra years to work here and they also offered good salary package annually so that my decision to move back my home country changed instantly . In addition, my both children got selected by one of renowned schools in this area based on scholarship which would be effective for their study as well as our financial support.

I would be pleased if you could accept this settlement with my agreement so that I can extend my stay here. However, there are some issues me and my family facing with bathroom taps and kitchen appliances like refrigeration required to replace along with stove sometimes stopped working. Could you please make some arrangements to fixed them.

I hope you will be agree to give us chance to live here for bit longer. I look forward to hearing back from you.
