Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

Dear Mike,

I write this letter to extend my lease for another 1 year. As far we are agreed upon the 6 month lease but I would like to request you that due some circumstances I would like to extend our stay.

Firstly, My plan was only for 6 month to stay in this city due to my work contract but now its got extended and we are expecting a little one. As this scenario we are not moving anywhere. As this place is very quite and comfortable for us.

Furthermore, as we decided to extent our stay. we are facing an certain issue like bathroom shower has a rust and leaky. Moreover, front door lock is not close properly due to that we are facing security issues. whenever you have time you can fix this problem.

If you need any further information please reach out to my cell phone number. additionally, I need to sign any paper and mail it to you please don't hesitate.
