Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the task achievement. While you have addressed the first two bullet points (duration and reason for change), you have completely failed to address the third bullet point regarding the problem in the apartment. The ideas are underdeveloped and lack the necessary detail to fully satisfy the task requirements. To improve, you must ensure all parts of the prompt are covered and provide sufficient elaboration to meet the length requirement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The letter lacks a clear structure and logical progression. There is a lack of paragraphing, which makes the text difficult to follow. While some basic cohesive devices like 'Apart from this' and 'firstly' are used, they are often misused or placed awkwardly, such as 'Apart from this firstly'. The flow of ideas is disjointed, and the lack of a proper introduction and conclusion further hinders the overall coherence of the letter.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is very limited and repetitive. You rely on basic words like 'good', 'easy', and 'reason'. There are noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'I renting an apartment' (should be 'I am renting') and 'did the agreement' (should be 'signed the agreement'). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express your ideas with any degree of precision or flexibility, which limits your ability to communicate effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'I renting an apartment on six months agreement' (missing auxiliary verb and article), 'The reasons of this is' (subject-verb agreement error), and 'I am not move anywhere' (incorrect verb form). There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the simple sentences used are often grammatically flawed. You need to focus on basic sentence construction, verb tenses, and subject-verb agreement to improve your accuracy.
