IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Rahul,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to tell you about my agreement. As we know my agreement was just for 6 months but now i want to rent more than 6 months if you are agree with this.

So, here's the thing I recently applied for a job and I got it. Now I have to live here and my office is very close to the apartment which will be very convenient for me.That's why I am planning to increase my agreement for one year.

Moreover, I would appreciate if you will fix the leakage of my kitchen sink. It happens from last 2 weeks . I wrote a letter before but you didn't reply back. So, please fix this problem as soon as you can.
