Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The letter addresses the three required bullet points: the duration of the extension, the reason for the change, and the maintenance issue. However, the response is significantly under the 150-word minimum requirement, which severely limits the development of ideas. The tone is also inconsistent, shifting from a formal request to somewhat informal and unclear phrasing. Because the response is only 96 words, it fails to meet the basic task requirements, resulting in a low score for task achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The letter lacks a clear structure. There is no proper opening or closing salutation appropriate for a formal letter, and the paragraphing is non-existent. The use of cohesive devices is very limited, relying on repetitive conjunctions like 'and' or 'so'. The progression of ideas is disjointed, making the text difficult to follow. To improve, you should use clear paragraph breaks for each point and employ linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' to connect your thoughts logically.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary is very basic and repetitive. There are numerous spelling errors, such as 'extended' instead of 'extend', 'arenge' instead of 'arrange', 'imigate' instead of 'immediate', and 'assosiation' instead of 'association'. The word choice is often imprecise, such as 'one more think' instead of 'one more thing' or 'another'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express the ideas clearly or professionally. You need to focus on learning standard spelling and using more formal, context-appropriate vocabulary for business correspondence.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The grammar is weak, with frequent errors that impede communication. There are significant issues with verb tenses ('i am change my goal'), sentence structure, and punctuation. Many sentences are fragments or run-on sentences that lack proper grammatical control. The use of 'u' instead of 'you' is inappropriate for a formal letter. The lack of capital letters at the start of sentences and for proper nouns further detracts from the quality of the writing. You need to focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and correct punctuation.
