IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Smith,

I am writing to request about enhancing the agreement for renting the apartment, our previous agreement ends on August 31st, 2026.

I want to rent the apartment for next six months again from 1st September to February 28th.

Unfortunately, I recently get update from my company I have to stay in the same branch for next six months because they have an important event in upcoming months, so they want me to help in preparation.

Apart from this, there are some problems acers recently which I want to be fixed as soon as possible, firstly, the shower is not working properly the water leaks continuously and the lock for main door is not working which is most essential thing. Moreover, air conditioning also didn't work sometime, so I want these things to be fixed as quickly as possible.
