Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Thomas,

I hope you're doing well. I am writing to request you to extend my lease agreement.

I moved in this apartment 5 months ago and have lease agreement until next month. I would like to stay here until i would be able to own my property. It would be great, if you could extend my lease for one more year.

Recently, I got my dream job As a Tech specialist in Tesla, and my work place is only 10 minutes away from my this apartment. So it'll be really convenient for me to commute from here.

I would like to notify you that the tap in the kitchen has been leaking for last month. we tried to fix it, however I think, this could be fixed only by plumber.

Please try to arrange the plumber at your earliest convenience. Usually, after 6.00 pm in evening everybody would be at home to attend the plumber.
