IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

Dear Mr. John,

I am writing this to inform you that as my six-monts renting agreement going to expire next month. I want to extended the period of egreement.

As I come in this city for my six months of internship and that is why I ranted the apartment on six months of contract from you. However, Now my job is confirm they decided that provide me a full time employment so I decided to stay in the same apartment for another six months. So I request to you to extend the stay period by a six monts.

I also want to tell you that all the taps in the bathroom and kitchen are leaking which creats many problem like create disturbing sound and waste of water so I would appriciate if you could change all the taps of my apartment.

Thank you for your time and concern. I am looking forward for your prompt response.
