IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mr. Raman

I hope this letter finds you well.

I am Writing this letter to request you for the extension of the lease agreement.

As you Aware, I am one of your tenants ,Jashan. I am living with you from last five months. I have changed my mind of moving. Now, I want to extend my lease for another six months.

There are numerous reasons for my this decision.Firstly, this apartment is in the centre of the city. I have good access to grocery stores, college and work. Additionally, transportation facilty is really good. Every fifteen minutes, thre is a bus going to the place whereever I want to.

The main reason for moving to another apartment was insects like spiders, cocroaches ,and many more. I found them in clothes , food and many other places in the house. I request you to please have pest control in the apartment every month .
