IELTS Writing Task 1 question

Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Jay,

I hope you are doing great in your life. I want to increase the stay at your apartment for more than 6 months.

To begin with I want to stay for more 6 months at your place due to ongoing winter, I do not have to car to shift my all the furnitures and my belongings to new apartment. Moreover, my employeer has converted my shift to work remotely and they want me to stay int he oshawa region only, so I think this is the best place where I can stay for more couple of months.

Apparently, there are couple of challeges out of that the biggest concern is, from last month winter started and from last week our city is facing the thuderstorm, in house ventalition system is working but heater is not making the water warm whereas tap water is only giving the cold water.

Please, help me this problems and if you can help to solve it as soon as possible, it is great help from your side and look into the renting agreement as well, I am willing to sign the new agreement as early as possible.
