Five months ago, you started renting an apartment on a six-month agreement. You now wish to stay in the apartment for longer than the six months you originally agreed with the owner.

Write a letter to the owner of your apartment. In your letter

• say how long you now want to rent the apartment for
• explain why your plans have changed
• tell the owner about a problem in the apartment

Dear Landlord,

How are you doing?. I'm writing this letter regarding the six months agreement that was initially signed for my apartment. I want to extend my stay in this accomodation to two years Instead of the agreed 6 months.

The reason for this change is because I got an opportunity to further my Education and the course program will last for 16 months. Also, my apartment is just few minutes away from the school so it's going to save me some transport money.

I want to also bring to your notice that the kitchen tap have not been rushing for some days now. initailly I thought is a water problem but after pumping the water to full tank, it still did not solve the problem. please could you send your plumber to come and see what is wrong with the tap.
