Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address the three requested points: you ask to remain in the apartment, give a reason related to a cancelled transfer, and report problems with the lift, water, and gas. However, the request is not specific about how much longer you want to rent, and the explanation is difficult to understand in places. The statement “Now a days i stay this apartment for five years” also conflicts with the task’s five-month timeline. The problems are listed but not explained in enough detail for the owner to understand their impact. The response is also 26 words below the required minimum, so there is limited space to develop these points. Add a clear rental period and expand on the reason and apartment issues.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The letter has a recognisable opening, a request and explanation, a paragraph about apartment problems, and a closing. This gives it some basic organisation. However, the progression is not consistently clear: “Now i wish to stay in the apartment” is followed by a confusing statement about staying for five years, then the transfer explanation. Several ideas run together, as in “plensider me in this situtation.plese give me longer time,” and the repeated request does not add new information. The transition from the reason for staying to the apartment problems is abrupt. Use separate paragraphs for your request and reason, the problems, and the closing, and connect each idea with clear, accurate linking phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “renting an apartment,” “transfer,” “lift,” and “water problem,” so the reader can identify the main topics. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors or inaccurate expressions make parts difficult to understand, such as “sattle,” “cancle,” “pleace,” and “fathifuiiu.” Some phrases are also unclear or unnatural, including “My tanasfer time” and “this lift stop some worng place.” Choose precise, conventional wording and check spelling carefully. For example, explain that your transfer has been cancelled and that the lift sometimes stops between floors. More accurate collocations would make the request and reported problems clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response mainly uses short, simple statements and attempts a few longer sentence patterns, but grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make the meaning unclear. Examples include “I hope my notes finds you well,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “I want to stay this apartment,” which is missing the preposition needed after “stay.” The sentence “My tanasfer time is cancle so i decid i do not go another pleace” has problems with verb forms and sentence construction. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “Now i” and “apartment.Now.” Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas with “because” or “so” while checking verb forms, articles, and punctuation.
