Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three required points: you request a two-month extension, explain that a technical problem has delayed your company’s project, and report issues with the shower and door locks. The purpose is clear, and the explanation is relevant. The request for a longer stay is especially specific, while the apartment problems are less fully described: for example, you do not say whether the locks are difficult to use or unsafe. The letter also has an appropriate greeting and closing. To make the response more complete, state the exact new end date or total rental period and briefly explain the practical effect of each problem. This would develop the relevant ideas more fully and make the request easier for the owner to act on.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter follows a generally sensible order: you explain the extension first, give the reason, then raise the apartment problems and close with a request for a reply. The use of “firstly” and “Secondly” helps distinguish the two repairs. However, the long opening section combines several ideas in one paragraph, and transitions such as “Now” and “It was not in my hand” feel repetitive or do not connect the information smoothly. The repair request would be clearer in a separate paragraph, with each issue stated in a complete sentence. Check that references such as “the period of stay” and “these problems” point clearly to the intended details. More controlled paragraphing and less mechanical linking would improve the flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use vocabulary relevant to renting and repairs, including “renew my agreement,” “technical fault,” “completion of project,” and “leakage of water.” These choices make the main message understandable, and “urgent attention” conveys the importance of the repairs. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, such as “stay in this city has been inceased,” “mitigte them,” and “on urgent bases.” Spelling errors, including “promissed,” also reduce precision. Aim for natural phrases that fit a formal letter, such as “extend my tenancy,” “the project has been delayed,” and “arrange for these repairs as soon as possible.” This would make your vocabulary more accurate and fluent without needing unnecessarily complex words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, particularly when explaining the project delay with “as first, duty assigned to me for six months” and “Now due to some technical fault it will take two more months.” The intended meaning can generally be followed, but sentence structure and verb forms are often inaccurate. For example, “I have stay here” needs a correct verb form, and “I am writing to request you that” uses an incorrect pattern after “request.” There are also problems with articles, capitalization, and punctuation, such as the sentence fragment “Secondly. locks of two doors…” Use complete sentences and practise patterns such as “I am writing to ask whether…” and “The project, which was expected to take six months, has been delayed.”
