Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, many people prefer choosing to buy good produced in our local area rather then imported good.some people like to do in local array and some human don’t like to produce in their area rather then local area. In my opinion, both are good things some buy local area and some time buy standard area.
Further more, mostly people prefer to buy local area mostly they have demand about to buy local area because that don’t to buy good area to much expensive that can,t afford and some human don’t spend that money on this product that why that’s prefer to buy in local area.
Unfortunately, mostly people think that we are buy products in expensive area it’s a good quality and branded and depends mote money and buy good and more good quality products further more, thay more people think to wear like branded dress, expensive food items, and more expensive makeup prefer to buy in good area.
In my opinion, some people have not enough earning that can’t buy more expensive products and thay have limited budget that,s why people are not spending they money more and that will buy local area but thay some people earn more and with smart business and that affordable easily to buy products in good and standard area .
Conclusion, some time according to budget that will buy the product and other items as per areas.any time we buy the things and products as per requirements.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing reasons for buying local goods and touching upon the positive/negative aspects. However, the ideas are underdeveloped and repetitive. The position is not clearly articulated, and the argument lacks depth. Furthermore, the response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of the ideas. To improve, you should provide more specific examples and ensure each paragraph contributes to a clear, logical argument that fully answers both parts of the question.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression of ideas is weak. The use of cohesive devices is limited and often inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'further more' and 'that's why'. The referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. To improve, focus on using a wider range of linking words correctly and ensure that each sentence logically follows the previous one to create a cohesive whole.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'good', 'area', and 'buy'. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'standard area' or 'expensive area', which do not convey the intended meaning clearly. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas effectively. You should aim to expand your vocabulary by learning synonyms and collocations related to consumer behavior and economics to improve precision and variety.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement, sentence structure, and punctuation. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, which hinders readability. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the errors are persistent throughout the text. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb tenses and word order, before attempting more complex structures. Proofreading for basic errors like missing articles and incorrect pluralization will also help.
