It is believed that people prefer to shop the products which are being produced in their home country rather than other nations. People adapt these shopping behaviours due to high quality, reasonable prices, and convenient to buy things. I assume that it is a positive trend and I will elabrate in further paragraphs.

To begin with, nowadays, people are more concerned about the quality of a product because they want the goods which are lang lasts and they do not need to purchase after short time period. For instance, if the items are belonged to local area people would have the knowledge about their production and they can make complaint easily if any product is defective. Along with this, affordable prices are also matters to purchase something. Some middle class families

cannot afford such higher costs of imparted goods. Moreover, products are always in stock whey they are being made in local area while, people have to wait for long time if imparted goods are not available because transport and custom takes weeks or months to deliver in an another country.

This trend has positive impact on overall local community because it assists to boost the economy of country when they produced things and local shoppers have interests to buy from them.

To conclude, there is no doubt that local products are appropriate choice of buyers, they can build confidence among producers to produce more products.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for buying local and the opinion on whether it is a positive trend. However, the development of ideas is limited. The explanation regarding why people choose local goods is somewhat repetitive, and the argument for why it is a positive trend is underdeveloped. Furthermore, the response is under the 250-word minimum, which restricts the depth of the analysis. To improve, you should expand on your examples and provide more detailed explanations for your claims to ensure a more comprehensive response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a basic logical progression. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Along with this, affordable prices are also matters to purchase something.' Additionally, the paragraphing is a bit unbalanced, with a very short paragraph for the second part of the prompt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, well-supported topic sentence would enhance the flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several instances of awkward phrasing or incorrect word choices, such as 'lang lasts' (long-lasting), 'items are belonged to' (items belong to), and 'imparted goods' (imported goods). These errors occasionally distract the reader. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise collocations and a wider range of vocabulary related to economics and consumer behavior, while ensuring correct word forms are used.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'shop the products which are being produced' (shop for products produced), 'convenient to buy things' (convenience in buying things), and 'transport and custom takes' (transport and customs take). There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and tense consistency.
