It is always a headache for people when they buy goods. Nowadays, many consumers are preferring to purchasing a things which are made in their local area, rather than imported ones. The main reasons for it are cost and trust. This is a positive trend because it not only helps local workers also boosts nation's economy.

First of all, price play critical role for customers as they want at cheapest cost. Therefore, imported goods are transported from another countries, so their transportation chargers, excise duty and others taxes makes them expensive as compared to locals they have no charges. Taking American smartphone brand Apple as an example, I USA the cost of this phone is $700,while after shipping to India and other Asian nation its cost crosses $1000. So, instead of imported these nation's people buy locally made phones.

Secondly, some people believe local made goods are more trustworthy in compare to imported ones. According to them local workers are best in world, thus local made goods are best in universe. An epitomization of this could be China, in this country American applications, phones, cars and other region's manufactured good and services are banned and every citizen uses Chinese made and owned goods.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for buying local and the opinion on whether it is a positive trend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the explanation regarding 'trust' is hyperbolic ('best in universe') and lacks a logical foundation. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments, particularly the example of China, are not entirely accurate or well-integrated into the argument. The response would benefit from more nuanced reasoning rather than sweeping generalizations about global trade and consumer behavior.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First of all', 'Secondly', and 'In summary', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'An epitomization of this could be'. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences is sometimes interrupted by grammatical errors. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different points, which helps the overall structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and sophistication. There are instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'transportation chargers' instead of 'transportation charges', 'instead of imported these nation's people' instead of 'instead of imported goods', and 'it vivid that'. The use of 'best in universe' is inappropriate for an academic or formal essay. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding informal or hyperbolic language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('price play critical role'), article usage ('in USA'), and incorrect word forms ('instead of imported these nation's people'). While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. More attention to basic sentence construction and proofreading for small errors would significantly improve the quality of the writing.
