To begin with this, buyer choosing goods to buy products that are made in their region.there are various reasons of this trend. The first is easily available at lower price. Second is most of the goods are according to their taste and linked to their culture. For example, in india, people like to buy goods which are handmade such as clothes, decor products, food and spices. People feels it presents love and emotions .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for choosing local goods and the opinion on whether this is a positive trend. However, the development is limited by the word count, which falls just short of the 250-word requirement. The ideas, such as economic benefits and cultural preservation, are relevant but remain somewhat superficial. The position is clear, but the lack of depth in the arguments prevents a higher score. The under-length penalty is applied here as the response does not meet the minimum requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and grammatical errors. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'To begin with', 'Moreover', 'In the conclusion'), they are often applied mechanically or incorrectly. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the opening sentence, which makes it difficult to follow the writer's train of thought. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks the necessary cohesion to guide the reader effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'petrons' (patrons), 'custom duty' (customs duties), and 'local created product'. The student struggles to express ideas with precision, relying on basic terminology. While the meaning is generally understandable, the lack of variety and the frequent errors in word formation and usage indicate a limited range that struggles to convey more complex ideas effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'People feels'), sentence structure (e.g., 'Nowadays, in foreign goods are not buying'), and article usage. The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with some attempts at complex ones that are often faulty. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas and periods. These persistent errors demonstrate a lack of control over basic grammatical rules.
