Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, people prefer local produced goods instead of the imparted goods has become widely discussed in many countries. this essay will discuss real reasons behind this trend and find out its positive or negative outcomes before my own opinion.
Several factors contributing to this trend such as freshness of vegetables and fruits, cheaper pricing and promote local and small business. Locally produced vegetables and fruits are free from the trade and commutes taxes which reduced princing of goods. Additionally, vegetables and fruits are more fresh in a local farmer maket than imparted. For instance, peaches have produced in the Ontario, mare freash and at reasonable prices rather than Mexican peaches. Another noteworthy reason has promoted local and small business. For these reasons, people prefer to buy local produced goods as compare imparted goods.
Answer to second question, I firmly believe that positive outcomes of this trend outweigh than negative outcomes. However, far some goods people entirely depends on imparted goods because of low availability in a local production. Local production enhanced economic growth in a areas such as arurals and countys. In these areas, have small business not only related to food but also manufacturing, technology and electronics. This has motineted young educational adults of this area by employment opparunities in this business. Another positive impact on an economic growth of these rurals and county's areas. Therefore, in this way, young people have jobs in their areas and economic growth of these area also improve.
Taking everything into account, I believe that this trend has several significant benefits such as freshness of vegetables and fruits, promate business and economic growth. therefore, its positive outcomes outweigh than negative outcomes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for buying local and the evaluation of the trend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention freshness and economic growth, the explanations are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'economic growth' is mentioned multiple times without providing specific, well-explained mechanisms. To reach a higher band, ensure that each reason is fully explored with clear, logical support rather than just listing points. The position is clear throughout, but the overall development remains somewhat superficial.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Additionally', 'For instance', and 'Taking everything into account'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'Answer to second question' at the start of the third paragraph, which is not a standard way to transition. Furthermore, some sentences are disjointed, and the flow between ideas could be smoother. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help the essay read more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and spelling that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'imparted' instead of 'imported', 'princing' instead of 'pricing', and 'arurals' instead of 'rural areas'. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'economic growth' and 'employment opportunities', but the range is limited. To improve, focus on mastering the correct spelling and collocation of common terms related to trade and economics, and try to incorporate more precise, less common vocabulary to demonstrate a wider range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'peaches have produced'), incorrect word forms (e.g., 'motineted' for 'motivated'), and missing articles or incorrect pluralization (e.g., 'in a areas', 'countys'). While the meaning is generally understandable, these persistent errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevent the writing from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic sentence construction, verb tenses, and plural forms to ensure greater accuracy.
