To commence with, there are some reason for this phenomenon. The first and foremost factor is that, some people always prefer to local areas things to buy because imported goods always selling at the highest price then local goods and it is effect to common people budget and its money savings. Apart from this, a lot of people use only local things because they can know about the price, quality and information about the product as well as they can buy all goods in their near market and regional price.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt—reasons for the trend and whether it is positive or negative—but the development is superficial. The ideas are repetitive and lack specific examples or depth. For instance, the argument regarding economic impact is mentioned but not explained with sufficient clarity or logical progression. Furthermore, the response falls short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which negatively impacts the overall task achievement score. To improve, you should expand on your points with concrete examples and ensure your position is more clearly articulated throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. While you use some cohesive devices like 'To commence with' and 'Nevertheless', they are sometimes used incorrectly or feel mechanical. The referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of your argument. The conclusion is also very brief and does not effectively summarise the main points discussed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic phrasing such as 'things', 'goods', and 'bad'. There are several instances of awkward word choices and incorrect collocations, such as 'boosting to choosing' and 'effect to common people budget'. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary, including more precise terms related to economics and consumer behaviour, and focus on using words in their correct context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'imported goods always selling', and incorrect sentence structures, such as 'it is a both positive and negative trend'. You rely heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences often result in errors. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like verb tense consistency and article usage.
