Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays people are increasingly choosing to purchase items that are produced in their local area instead of imported things. Although there are some issues with this opinion, it has a positive impact on the community and the environment, which I will elaborate in upcoming paragraphs.
Initially, people are buying things from locality. The main reason is fresh and better quality. In other words, communities of people love to purchase things from nearby areas, because they think that it has better quality of freshness, which is useful for them. Another thing is, there is no chemicals are included in these things. To explain it, because imported products have lots of chemicals and pesticides, which is not beneficial for a person's health. As, they always prefer to buy items from their neighbourhood. For example, In India, in the state of Assam people love to buy tea leaves from their area rather than imported. Because it is very fresh and useful.
On the other hand, it has positive impact of buying products from their local surroundings. Firstly, if people purchase things from their local vendors, they can enhance their income by purchasing things. As well, they can support their country economy by buying things, which may be useful for their farmers growth. Moreover, one more thing is cheaper. Imported things are expensive as compared to exported things. Individuals can afford things from their local vendors. Not only good for farmers but also it is very useful for country growth.
In conclusion, so people always give preference to buy things from their nearby locality just because of fresh and better quality of items. As well as, it has optimistic points of this trend first is economic growth and second is farmers may earn good amount of income from local area people. ab iska score kitna hoga

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for buying local and the evaluation of the trend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the explanation regarding chemicals in imported goods is repetitive and lacks depth. The argument about economic growth is mentioned but not fully explored with clear logical steps. While the position is clear, the supporting points are often stated rather than extended. To reach a higher band, you should provide more detailed explanations and ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea rather than listing several points briefly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'In other words' and 'Firstly/Moreover'. Some transitions are awkward, such as 'As, they always prefer...' which disrupts the flow. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the link between local purchasing and economic growth is not smoothly connected. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words will help the text flow more professionally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'things' and 'good' repeatedly, which limits the sophistication of your writing. Phrases like 'communities of people love to purchase things' are somewhat informal and repetitive. There are also minor collocation errors, such as 'exported things' when referring to imported goods. To improve, focus on using more specific terminology related to economics and consumer behavior, and avoid overusing generic nouns.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. For example, 'there is no chemicals are included' is grammatically incorrect, and 'it has positive impact of buying' lacks the necessary article. There are also issues with sentence fragments and awkward phrasing, such as 'As well, they can support their country economy'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles.
