IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some consumers are increasingly choosing to buy goods that are produced in their local area, rather than imported goods.
What are the reasons for this?
Is this a positive or a negative trend?

Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that AI could eventually replace tutors in academic institutions. Although artificial intelligence provide effeciency and improve productivity, teachers are still playing vital role in students' lives by provinding them personal assistance.
On the one hand, there are several reasons that why artifical intellegent could be the substitue of proffessors. Firstly, it is effective and time consuming method of study. As individuals can get their answers in just a few seconds along with explanation and various examples. Secondly, it could be useful to reduce the administor's workload by eliminating the chances of mistakes. For instance, British Counsil recently introduced AI in their IELTS examination which is fruitful for both students and teachers. As teachers are no longer required to check the exams physically, students are also getting their results within two to three days.
On the other hand, I believe that teachers are crucial part of the society. No matter how all the acandemic tasks are automated but still there is a specail realionship between student and a teacher. They provide personalised feedback and encouragement which is very important for a student to improve their performance in their exams. Moreover, they also teaches us the communication skills, basic manners and give extra guidance which enhnace our confidence.
To conclude, artificial intellingace provide ease in many ways such as effeciency and eliminate unneccessary tasks, but we can not ignore the importance of the proffessors. They are still needed in order to get personal feedback and motivation. Hence, AI could be the helping hand in some extent but it will not fully eliminate the humans in real life.
