Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for buying local and the evaluation of the trend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention economic benefits and convenience, the arguments lack depth and specific analysis. For instance, the point about 'tax charges' is vague, and the connection between 'creativity' and local products in the conclusion is not clearly established in the body paragraphs. To improve, ensure each reason is fully explained with a clear logical link to the prompt. The position is clear, but the supporting evidence, such as the 'Make in India' example, could be better integrated to strengthen the overall argument.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a central focus. There is a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Ashtonishingly' to start a paragraph, which does not fit the context. Referencing is occasionally unclear, for example, 'residing over their' (should be 'there'). While the progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, the transition between the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of the trend could be smoother. Improving the variety and precision of linking words will help elevate the flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

There is an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, but there are several spelling errors ('contemprory', 'foriegn', 'Ashtonishingly', 'individulas') and some word choice issues ('foreign return things', 'convincible'). These errors occasionally distract the reader, though they do not prevent understanding. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'under developing nations' and 'local vendor', which is good. To reach a higher band, focus on accurate spelling and using more precise collocations rather than descriptive phrases that sound unnatural in an academic context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of the writing, such as 'a few segment of individuals are more prone of consuming' (should be 'a small segment... is more prone to consuming') and 'we can not always went' (should be 'we cannot always go'). Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are inconsistent throughout the text. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors limits the score. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for tense consistency will significantly improve your accuracy.
