Some consumers are increasingly choosing to buy goods that are produced in their local area, rather than imported goods.
What are the reasons for this?
Is this a positive or a negative trend?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Many consumers buy goods from the local area rather than imported goods. I believe that this is a positive trend. in the forthcoming paragraphs, i have supported my stand with reasonable justification. Also, I have discussed some reasons behind this trend.
Consumers who buy goods that are produced in their local area do so because of the quality of those products and reasonable prices. Local products are very budget-friendly so easy they can buy, and also local people who survive selling those goods will get enough money for their basic needs.
In addition, imported goods are very expensive for people who have a basic lifestyle. They cannot afford them. Furthermore, if people buy goods from the local area, it will benefit the country's growth. it will benefit the country's economy.
Yet, another reason is that they can find these items easily. it is very convenient for them. Also, in their busy lives, they prefer easy and best things to buy rather then exspensive one and time consumer.
In conclusion, buying goods that are produced in the local area will benefit the consumer
and the country's growth. Also, it is very budget-friendly and has good quality.
