Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this globalise world. Few people wanted to extend their demang in buying their items which are planted by them instead of buying products from other places. their several reasons on this i will explain both negative and positive aspects in upcoming paragraphs.

In addition to this, the reason they choosing their own planted foods is positive treand that their future children should know their traditional food and they will kept that heritage with them. Secondly, they can have those goods in lower prices than the imported goods which is effordable for them. For example, they can buy their fruits for only local price without any tax addition but but for foreign fruits they have to pay tax too which can be very expensive.

Howerver, other point it can be negative trend becasue of that increasing demand for their local food they can be unaware of outside world goods which can lead them too backward from the world . Moreover, by this they will be disconnected with other side of worls. For instanec, if they will disconnected with other world than in case of disasters other countries will not help them because their ties with them will disappear because of this trend.

Therefore, although it is good to have their own growing food would be better to buy in terms of price and heritage purposes but, it can be disconnected them from other world which can results in lost of relationship with them with less knowlegde of other good around the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The student addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the reasons for buying local goods and evaluating whether this trend is positive or negative. The ideas include preserving heritage, economic affordability, and the potential risks of isolation and disconnection from the global community. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on the negative aspects focuses heavily on the idea of being disconnected from the outside world without exploring other dimensions such as economic impacts on global trade. Furthermore, some sentences contain fragmented logic, such as 'they will be disconnected with other side of worls. For instanec, if they will disconnected with other world than in case of disasters other countries will not help them.' This demonstrates a tendency to over-generalise. Therefore, the response fulfills the basic task requirements adequately, earning a band 5.5.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The text is divided into logical paragraphs with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, which provides a coherent overall arrangement. The student attempts to use cohesive devices such as 'In addition to this', 'Secondly', 'Howerver', and 'Therefore'. However, the use of these cohesive devices is often mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, as seen in the abrupt transition 'Howerver, other point it can be negative trend'. Referencing and logical progression are occasionally faulty, leading to confusion in places, such as the run-on sentences in the conclusion. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion lacks smooth transitions between ideas. Consequently, the organization shows some progression but suffers from inadequate and mechanical cohesive devices, placing it firmly at a band 5.0.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary range used is limited and barely adequate for the task. The student attempts some less common vocabulary items such as 'heritage', 'effordable', and 'disasters', but these are undermined by frequent spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'globalise' instead of 'globalised', 'demang' instead of 'demand', 'treand' instead of 'trend', and 'knowlegde' instead of 'knowledge'. There is also heavy repetition of basic words like 'goods', 'world', and 'trend' throughout the essay. While the meaning can generally be discerned despite the errors, the noticeable inaccuracies and restricted range restrict the lexical score to a band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The student displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Most attempts at complex sentences are faulty, containing numerous basic errors in tense, agreement, and punctuation. Examples include 'Few people wanted to extend their demang in buying their items which are planted by them', 'there several reasons on this i will explain', and 'it can be disconnected them from other world which can results in lost of relationship'. Punctuation is frequently misused, with missing capital letters and double conjunctions like 'but but'. Frequent errors in grammar and structure cause considerable difficulty for the reader and obscure the intended meaning in several instances, resulting in a band 4.5.
